These pieces were created from my studies, drawings and experimental work on the Island of Eigg.

As I worked on these pieces, I really loved watching them evolve, there is a timeless quality to that.

These original pieces were hand painted onto woodblocks.

The process of encaustic painting combines layering textures, paint and inks etc. A mix of artistic techniques and expressive mark making bring these pieces alive.

The final four Elemental Flow No.1 - No.4, evolved from spending five days on this remote Island.
